Stephanie AKA Estefany

Name: Stephanie AKA Estefany depending what hemisphere I’m at.

What do you currently do for a living?
Interesting question, for my living: I design, make and sell my precious accessories, I dance, I sing and I also manage to work out for my living :)

Where are you originally from?
I was born & raised in the Wa He section of the NYC, however, I spent my “coming of age summers” growing up in Barranquilla,Colombia. My father hails from the DR and I have that engrained in me aswell. Therefore I’m originally una Colominicana New Yorkina.

How would you describe your style?
Carribbean hippy mixed with a little sassyness and a lot of BOMBSHELL CLASSY SOPHISTICATION raised.

What inspires you in your daily pursuit of Life?
Seeing what tomorrow will bring is exciting.

How do you feel about the environment?
Don’t get me started on this subject! I love my environment and everyday we are destroying it. I think its currently reacting to all the damage we have done to it and kicking our butts! I believe its renewing itself, earthquakes, hurricanes, torrential downpours and tsunamis is just the Earth’s way of saying its fed up with us.

Do you prefer shopping online or in person?
In Person!!!! You have to touch, feel, smell and connect with the items you want to buy. Its an experience, not to mention therapy. I window shop online and go to the store to see if its what I saw online. I’m usually surprised to find its very different!

Do you believe in extraterrestrials?
I believe that we are a spec of dust in the universe and by “WE” I mean our beautiful planet.

What books are you currently reading?
International magazines are my current books (DR,PR,SPAIN,COLOMBIA,LONDON,JAPAN,KOREA)

What’s your favorite sound of nature?
I cant choose between tree leaves rustling in the wind, ocean waves and coqui.

What does success mean to you?
Success means being joyful everyday no matter what.

Friday morning we filled the tank and drove to the Karmaloop Command Center in Boston. We went straight from the caaar (4 hours) to meet the Karma Ambassadors. Check out the flicks:

guitar-hero-x-call-of-duty.jpg

This past Thursday we were lucky enough to be invited to Beats VS. Bullets - a private preview event EXCLUSIVE FOR XBOX 360 held at Pianos NYC. We were given an advance opportunity to play Guitar Hero World Tour and Call of Duty: World at War, the next installment of two of the highest grossing games for 2007. Both are slated for release later this month.

We were given a warm welcome by friends, and were immediately drawn to the big monitors filled with video game graphics. Guitar Hero was a blast, as we rocked to Rocky’s “Eye of the Tiger” and MJ’s “Beat It”. Call of Duty’s amazing action and realism are sick! A good time, for sure!
